About the Role:
Right Recruit is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing UK-based company seeking a talented Social Media Virtual Assistant to manage and grow their online presence. This is a fantastic remote opportunity for a creative, self-motivated individual with a passion for digital marketing and content creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily posting across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.)
- Create engaging content including graphics, captions, and short-form videos
- Track and analyse social media performance using insights and analytics tools
- Research and implement relevant hashtags, trends, and content strategies
- Monitor inboxes/comments and engage with the online community
- Support with planning and executing social media campaigns
- Provide weekly or monthly performance reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience handling professional/business social media accounts
- Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Buffer, Later, or similar
- Strong written English and copywriting ability
- Good understanding of current social media trends, especially for UK audiences
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Availability to work during UK time zones is preferred
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Experience with paid ads on Meta platforms
- Basic video editing for Reels/TikToks
- Understanding of content calendars and brand tone
