We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a QA Tester, you will primarily focus on testing mobile applications for functionality, performance, and usability. This role offers an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or freshers to gain hands-on experience in software quality assurance while contributing to the development of high-quality mobile applications.
Responsibilities:
- Execute manual test cases on mobile apps (iOS and Android) to ensure functionality, usability, and performance.
- Identify, log, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand app features and create effective test cases.
- Perform regression testing to validate fixes for reported bugs and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Conduct functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Test apps under different network conditions, devices, and operating systems to ensure compatibility and optimal performance.
- Provide feedback on app usability, design consistency, and overall user experience.
- Assist in maintaining test documentation, including test plans, cases, and reports.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and results to the development team in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
- Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and basic knowledge of mobile app functionality.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and independently.
- Strong communication skills to report findings and issues clearly.
- Basic understanding of issue-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA) and version control systems (e.g., Git) is a plus.
