Job Title: Supply Chain Executive – Yarn & Fabric Imports

Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Executive to oversee the entire import lifecycle of yarns and fabrics into Pakistan from Central Asia (land routes) and Southeast Asia (sea routes). The candidate will manage coordination with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs agents, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Inbound Logistics & Coordination
Coordinate with Central Asian and Southeast Asian suppliers on shipment readiness, documentation, and loading
Arrange land route transportation (e.g., Turkmenistan–Iran–Pakistan corridor) and sea shipments (e.g., from Vietnam, Indonesia)
Liaise with freight forwarders and transport companies for route planning, border crossing requirements, and delivery tracking
Ensure accuracy and timely submission of shipping documents (BL, CMR, COO, Invoice, Packing List, etc.)
Customs & Compliance
Ensure shipments comply with Pakistan’s import regulations and HS code classifications
Liaise with customs clearing agents for swift clearance at border points (e.g., Taftan, Gwadar, Karachi Port)
Monitor duties, taxes, and cess payments and ensure accurate costing records
Inventory & Internal Coordination
Coordinate with warehouse/receiving teams to schedule offloading and inspections
Maintain accurate tracking of goods in transit, delivery timelines, and stock availability
Update procurement and sales teams on shipment status and lead times
Documentation & Record Keeping
Maintain comprehensive records of all shipments, vendor contracts, and clearance documents
Generate reports on freight costs, delays, landed costs, and route performance
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
2–4 years of relevant experience in import logistics, ideally in textiles or trading companies
Familiarity with cross-border logistics in Central Asia and maritime shipping from Southeast Asia
Understanding of Pakistani import procedures, customs documentation, and land route logistics
Strong communication and negotiation skills with vendors and agents
Preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics tracking systems
Basic knowledge of fabric/yarn specifications and trade flows
