We are seeking an experienced and meticulous professional to join our Surveillance Operations team as a Manager – Surveillance. This key role requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in the field of surveillance and security, strong leadership capabilities, and advanced Excel proficiency. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our monitoring systems and upholding a secure operational environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Direct and manage daily operations of surveillance and monitoring systems, ensuring effective security protocols are in place.
- Continuously assess existing security procedures and recommend enhancements as necessary.
- Lead, support, and mentor a team of surveillance personnel to improve performance and skill development.
- Develop and implement surveillance strategies that support company goals and meet compliance requirements.
- Interpret data gathered from monitoring systems and produce detailed analytical reports for senior management.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to resolve security concerns and strengthen overall safety measures.
- Keep abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in surveillance and security.
- Act swiftly in response to security incidents and emergencies, including coordination with law enforcement agencies when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education.
- 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in surveillance and security operations.
- Additional certifications or completed courses in surveillance/security are advantageous.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to handle and interpret complex data sets.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Desirable Skills:
- Professional certification in security management or related disciplines.
- Familiarity with modern security software and surveillance systems.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
