Job Summary:
Better Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a reputed client in the petrochemicals sector. We are seeking a highly experienced Business Manager – Chemicals Trading to lead and manage Chemicals Trading operations in Pakistan. The ideal candidate must have strong experience in end-to-end petrochemical trading, including sourcing, sales, P&L ownership, and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the trading strategy for petrochemical products in the Pakistani market
- Manage the entire trading cycle: market research, supplier negotiations, procurement, logistics, sales, and after-sales service
- Take full P&L responsibility for the petrochemical trading division
- Build and maintain strong relationships with international and local suppliers and clients
- Monitor petrochemical market trends to ensure competitive sourcing and pricing
- Oversee compliance with local trade regulations and manage risk in trading operations
- Lead a trading team, recruit and train staff, and set performance targets
- Prepare and analyze trading reports, forecasts, and budget planning for management
Required Qualifications:
- 8–10+ years of proven experience in Chemicals Trading in Pakistan (mandatory)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Chemical Engineering, Supply Chain, or a relevant field
- Strong P&L management experience
- Well-connected in the petrochemical trading industry
- Strong negotiation, decision-making, and team leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/trading systems

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
