Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Etsy Account Manager to oversee and grow our brand’s presence on the Etsy marketplace. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Etsy's platform, algorithms, SEO best practices, and customer experience standards. This role involves managing product listings, optimizing store performance, running promotions, and ensuring a top-notch customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of the Etsy store, including product uploads, inventory updates, pricing, and order fulfillment coordination.
- Create and optimize product listings using effective keywords, SEO techniques, and compelling content to increase visibility and sales.
- Monitor store performance metrics including traffic, conversion rate, reviews, and customer service ratings.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow sales, improve store ranking, and expand product visibility.
- Coordinate with the design and production teams to ensure accurate and timely product information.
- Handle customer inquiries, messages, and reviews promptly and professionally to maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Stay updated with Etsy's latest policies, tools, and trends to ensure full compliance and competitive positioning.
- Run and manage Etsy Ads campaigns and promotions to drive traffic and sales.
- Prepare weekly performance reports with actionable insights and suggestions for continuous improvement.
- Analyze competitor stores and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience managing an Etsy store or similar marketplace (e.g., Amazon Handmade, eBay, Shopify).
- Strong knowledge of Etsy SEO, keyword optimization, and listing best practices.
- Experience with product photography, descriptions, and merchandising is a plus.
- Familiarity with Etsy Ads and promotional tools.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel or similar tools.
- Excellent written communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with design tools (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) to assist in product visuals.
- Prior success in scaling an Etsy store’s monthly revenue.
- Background in handmade, vintage, custom, or niche product categories.
