AirAsia X is seeking a Duty Manager - Karachi (KHI) to be part of the airline team.
Guest Service Duty Manager shall maintain the highest level of safety, security, and service standards for ground operations.
Main Responsibilities
The function and responsibilities are to coordinate, supervise, monitor implementation, plan, and develop the department.
Planning to ensure that manpower requirements are sufficient for the operation.
Provide vision and operational strategy in the field following AirAsia X Ground Operations by maximizing productivity and minimizing operating costs.
Ensure effective communication and coordination with relevant local and government agencies in the continuous assessment of airports and associated facilities to meet the targeted standards and procedures of operations.
Ensure that the discipline of all ground staff is at the highest level at all times when dealing with internal and external customers.
Plan and review the staff roster to ensure fairness, meet labor law requirements, and meet operational needs.
Coordinate, plan, prepare, and present budgets for the department.
Target optimal efficiency in administrative routines and the standards of daily operations to meet company procedures and requirements.
Respond to any complaints and compliments from passengers.
Liaise closely with the Training Center to monitor performance and incorporate new training needs into future programs. Ensure that all manuals used in Ground Operations are developed, maintained, amended, and distributed in a timely manner, strictly adhering to applicable regulatory standards.
Authority to make decisions for low-risk events related to the safety and/or security of aircraft operations and shall consult the Head of Department for any medium-risk events.
Ensure ground handling operations are conducted in accordance with applicable regulations and AirAsia X standards.

Merits
Completion of tertiary education.
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any field will be an added advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation industry is an added advantage.
Analytical with problem-solving skills.
Good writing skills and able to handle passenger complaints.
Comfortable working in a diverse environment.
Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
