Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CCTV & Biometric Installer who also has a strong understanding of basic networking concepts. The ideal candidate should be capable of independently handling the installation, configuration, and maintenance of security and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras, NVRs/DVRs, and biometric attendance/access control systems
- Troubleshoot and repair system faults
- Route and terminate cables (coaxial, CAT6, etc.)
- Conduct site surveys and assist in planning installations
- Coordinate with team and clients for smooth execution of installation tasks
- Set up and troubleshoot LAN, IP addressing, and ensure device connectivity
- Maintain installation logs and provide basic user training to clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience in CCTV, biometric systems installation, and basic networking
- Strong understanding of camera types, angles, and recording systems
- Familiarity with IP-based systems and remote access configuration
- Ability to work independently and handle tools and ladders
- Basic knowledge of switches, routers, and cable testing
- Good communication and client-handling skills
