Position:              Manager FP&A

Division:              Core Diagnostics  

Location:             Karachi - Landhi Plant

Job Summary:

The Manager FP&A is responsible for performing a broad range of accounting functions with lead responsibility for accounting records in a small office or organization department, Under general direction.

Also analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of account documents and makes adjustments.

Major Responsibilities:

• Under general direction, performs a broad range of accounting functions with lead responsibility for accounting records in a small office or organization department
• Prepare month end journal entries for provisions, reserves, and consumption to Ensure they reflect the appropriate accounting period
• Thoroughly review of customer orders to maximize recovery and reduce delinquent receivables
• Timely reporting to the area finance team not limited to sales forecasts, H.56, H.37, SGNA and variance commentary
• Timely reporting to local finance and commercial teams not limited to sales pivot, statutory sales tax, DSO, variances, customer hold release status
• Serve as a POC for the contractual workforce and partner with service provider for payroll processing, advance recoveries, expense claims and other miscellaneous expenses

Education/Knowledge & Experience:

• Preferably MBA in Finance & Accounting or CA, ACCA, ICMA, CIMA 
• Minimum of 5 -6 year’ experience in accounting and finance role 
• Individual contributor with comprehensive knowledge in the specific area.
• Ability to execute highly complex or specialized work
• Knowledge acquired from several years of experience or specialist training in particular area
• Works independently, applies standards yet adapts precedent and may make departures from established processes to resolve problems
