Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Program Coordinator in the Human Development Programme Department.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- coordinate the admissions process for the MECD program, including application screening, review, interviews, and admission tests.
- develop and maintain program databases, including course outlines and teaching materials.
- facilitate course scheduling, teaching assignments, and ensure timely availability of academic resources.
- act as the primary liaison for students regarding teaching schedules, assignments, and academic inquiries.
- serve as the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) focal person for students and faculty.
- organize program committee meetings, prepare minutes, and disseminate decisions to relevant stakeholders.
- prepare periodic reports, academic reviews, and documentation for internal quality assurance.
- manage examination-related activities, including schedules, evaluations, and feedback collection.
- coordinate with external examiners and speakers, including travel, accommodation, and honoraria arrangements.
- perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor as required.
Requirements:
You should have:
- Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent (preferably in Educational Management)
- 3–5 years of management-level experience, preferably in an academic or higher education institution
- Experience in student affairs coordination within a higher education setting
- Strong management, coordination, and organizational skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Strong analytical, report writing, and editing skills
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to academic program management
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management abilities.
