The Human Development Programme (HDP) was established as the first concrete initiative in this field in 2003 and supports human development through multidisciplinary and research-based approaches. Its initial focus is early childhood, a period of life that lays the foundation for all future learning, development and wellbeing.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Program Coordinator in the Human Development Programme Department.

Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

  • coordinate the admissions process for the MECD program, including application screening, review, interviews, and admission tests.
  • develop and maintain program databases, including course outlines and teaching materials.
  • facilitate course scheduling, teaching assignments, and ensure timely availability of academic resources.
  • act as the primary liaison for students regarding teaching schedules, assignments, and academic inquiries.
  • serve as the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) focal person for students and faculty.
  • organize program committee meetings, prepare minutes, and disseminate decisions to relevant stakeholders.
  • prepare periodic reports, academic reviews, and documentation for internal quality assurance.
  • manage examination-related activities, including schedules, evaluations, and feedback collection.
  • coordinate with external examiners and speakers, including travel, accommodation, and honoraria arrangements.
  • perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor as required.
 

 

Requirements:

You should have:

  • Master’s degree in business administration or equivalent (preferably in Educational Management)
  • 3–5 years of management-level experience, preferably in an academic or higher education institution
  • Experience in student affairs coordination within a higher education setting
  • Strong management, coordination, and organizational skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Strong analytical, report writing, and editing skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications relevant to academic program management
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and people management abilities.
