Position/Designation: Sales Consultant - Govt Sales
Location: Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Pindi
Responsibilities:
- Lead B2G (Business-to-Government) sales strategy targeting federal, provincial, and semi-government bodies.
- Identify, track, and pursue tender and procurement opportunities via Newspapers, PPRA, SPPRA, KPRA, and other provincial e-procurement portals.
- Strong relationships with procurement officials in key ministries and government departments (e.g., WAPDA, NTDC, NADRA, PIA, etc.).
- Manage Pre and post tender process from eligibility, document preparation, pricing, bid, to delivery & contract execution.
- Ensure full compliance with latest Public Procurement Rules and other relevant legal frameworks.
- Liaise with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Technical, Pre-sales, After-sales) to develop accurate, tailored proposals and pricing strategies aligned with machinery or equipment specifications..
- Stay updated on federal and provincial budgets, development schemes, and upcoming projects.
- Release all Bank Guarantees and performance Bond.
Other Expectation:
- Possess a deep understanding of PPRA and public procurement tendering frameworks across Pakistan.
- Keep update the product team about market intelligence on upcoming development projects and budget allocations.
Measurable deliverables:
- Help to Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for the government sales vertical (measured in PKR).
- Increase the number of government clients acquired or retained year-over-year.
- Register as a vendor with at least 5 new government entities per quarter.
Work done by themselves:
Lead high-value equipment tender submissions, bid defense, and pricing strategy decisions within defined limits. Build strong relationships with senior officials (Grade 18–22) and resolve escalated issues related to equipment tendering and post-sales processes.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master’s degree (MBA, MPA) preferred—particularly in Sales, Supply Chain, or Public Policy disciplines.
Experience:
- 5–8 years in B2G sales or business development.
- Proven track record of working with government buyers in sectors such as energy (e.g., WAPDA), infrastructure (e.g., NHA), telecom (e.g., PTCL), or digital governance (e.g., NADRA).
Certifications:
- Preferred: Training in PPRA, Sindh, or KPK Procurement Rules from NIBAF, PIDE, or other recognized local certifying bodies.
- Bid & Proposal Writing certifications from local institutes or online platforms (e.g., Coursera, LUMS)
- Understanding of equipment financing or leasing models in public procurement is a bonus.
