We are currently seeking an Accounts Receivable and Recovery Officer to join our team and help us maintain our financial stability while supporting our mission.
Position Overview:
As the Accounts Receivable and Recovery Officer, you will be responsible for managing our accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely collection of payments, and fostering strong relationships with our clients. Your expertise will be vital in optimizing our cash flow and minimizing overdue accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment tracking, and collections.
- Communicate proactively with clients regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
- Analyze accounts to identify overdue payments and implement effective recovery strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and enhance processes.
- Prepare and present regular reports on accounts receivable status and recovery efforts.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
- Slight understanding of Sales Tax calculations & deductions + Withholding Tax calculations & deductions (can be easily taught).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite specially Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
