We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager who can drive business growth through Upwork and other freelance platforms, identify lucrative opportunities, and close deals effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Upwork & Freelance Platforms Management: Manage and optimize the company’s presence on platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, etc., ensuring high visibility and engagement.
- Lead Generation: Identify high-quality projects and business opportunities, specifically targeting the Middle East and European markets.
- Bidding & Proposal Writing: Strategically bid on relevant projects, craft persuasive proposals, and customize responses to client needs.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their project requirements and delivering tailored solutions.
- Closing Deals: Negotiate project terms, finalize contracts, and ensure seamless onboarding for clients.
- Collaboration: Partner with technical teams to ensure accurate project estimates and alignment with client expectations.
- Performance Tracking: Track and report key metrics like proposal success rates, revenue growth, and client satisfaction.
- Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and freelance platform strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience on Upwork or similar freelance platforms (e.g., Fiverr, Freelancer).
- Market Expertise: Demonstrated ability to secure projects from Middle Eastern and European clients is highly preferred.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Familiarity with web development, design, and animation services to understand client needs and effectively pitch solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to craft high-quality, personalized proposals.
- Skills:
- Proven track record of closing deals and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent time management to meet deadlines and maintain quality.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be comfortable working during night hours to cater to international clients.
