Responsibilities
- Engage with warm and cold leads generated through marketing, LinkedIn, inbound inquiries, and cold calling
- Research, qualify, and segment prospects based on relevance to specific events
- Craft personalized email/LinkedIn messages and follow-up sequences
- Schedule meetings or calls for the senior sales team with potential sponsors, speakers, or attendees
- Maintain accurate pipeline and reporting via CRM
- Support broader business development goals such as partnership building or speaker outreach
Required Experience & Skills
- 2–4 years in a B2B business development or SDR/BDR role
- Proven experience in lead generation, prospect nurturing, and CRM use
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence engaging with senior professionals (VP, Director, CxO)
- Research-driven mindset – able to understand industries and pain points
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the event or conference industry
- Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo.io, or Instantly
- Exposure to HubSpot, Salesforce, or monday.com
