- Maintain accurate inventory levels of all chemicals used in the washing department, ensuring proper storage, labeling, and documentation as per safety and compliance standards.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming chemical shipments, verifying quantity and quality against purchase orders and ensuring MSDS compliance.
- Issue chemicals to the washing and production teams based on daily requirements, maintaining proper documentation and consumption tracking.
- Coordinate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of chemicals to avoid production delays and stockouts.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations related to chemical handling, PPE usage, and spill response protocols.
- Monitor shelf life and expiry dates of all chemicals, ensuring timely usage or disposal as per company and environmental guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized, and hazard-free chemical store environment, conducting regular audits and ensuring all chemicals are stored according to industry best practices.
