Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Compensation: 300,000 – 350,000 per month
About the Role
Adfluence Digital Marketing Agency is seeking an accomplished Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define, lead, and execute the company’s technology vision. As a member of the executive leadership team, the CTO will be responsible for overseeing all technical operations, driving innovation, and ensuring that technology serves as a core enabler of our business strategy. This role is fully remote and reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Identify and deploy emerging technologies to strengthen competitive advantage.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Board on technology investment and risk.
Technology & Product Development
- Oversee the architecture, development, and optimisation of digital platforms and marketing technologies.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security across all technology solutions.
- Drive integration of AI, automation, and advanced analytics to enhance service delivery.
Team & Organisational Leadership
- Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering, data, and product teams.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Attract and retain top technical talent to support growth initiatives.
Governance & Compliance
- Ensure robust data security, cybersecurity resilience, and disaster recovery frameworks.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR and other relevant UK/EU regulatory standards.
- Establish KPIs and performance metrics to measure technology effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.
- Collaborate with clients, partners, and investors to align technology with commercial goals.
- Represent Adfluence externally as a thought leader in digital marketing technology.
Candidate Profile
- Extensive experience as CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in digital marketing technologies, SaaS platforms, or MarTech ecosystems.
- Deep expertise in AI, automation, cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), APIs, and data analytics.
- Demonstrated success in leading distributed, remote, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to balance innovation with business objectives.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
