We are seeking a competent and enthusiastic Chemistry & Computer Teacher for our Matric Section (Punjab Board). The ideal candidate must have strong subject command, board exam preparation experience, and the ability to engage students in scientific and technological learning.
Subject Responsibilities:
Chemistry (Grades 9–10):
- Teach theoretical and practical chemistry as per Punjab Textbook Board curriculum.
- Conduct lab sessions and chemical demonstrations with strict safety protocols.
- Prepare students for annual board exams, quizzes, and assessments.
- Simplify complex scientific concepts using models, charts, multimedia, and real-life applications.
- Guide students on chemical equations, formulas, reactions, and problem-solving techniques.
Computer Science (Grades 9–10):
- Deliver lessons based on Matric Board Computer Science curriculum, covering programming basics (e.g., QBASIC or C), computer fundamentals, data processing, and IT concepts.
- Conduct hands-on computer lab sessions to reinforce programming and software skills.
- Train students in board exam paper-solving techniques and past paper analysis.
- Introduce basic computer ethics, online safety, and the importance of digital literacy.
General Teaching Duties:
- Design structured lesson plans and maintain lesson pacing to meet syllabus timelines.
- Evaluate and assess student performance regularly through tests, assignments, and practicals.
- Maintain proper records of student attendance, behavior, and academic performance.
- Create a disciplined, respectful, and engaging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with other subject teachers, exam coordinators, and the academic head for planning and monitoring.
- Participate in school events, science exhibitions, IT fairs, and training programs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Computer Science, or Education
- Preferred: Master’s degree in relevant subjects or B.Ed./M.Ed.
- At least 2 years of teaching experience at Matric level (Grades 9–10), especially in Punjab Board curriculum
- Strong command over both Chemistry and Computer Science syllabi
- Proficiency in Urdu and English mediums
