Job Title: Data Entry Operator (Commerce Background) – Accounts Department

Job Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator with a commerce background to join our Accounts Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, managing, and maintaining financial and transactional data related to our textile and fashion e-commerce business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and update financial transactions, invoices, and records in the accounting system.
• Maintain accuracy in data entry related to purchase orders, sales invoices, and vendor payments.
• Assist in reconciling accounts, verifying discrepancies, and ensuring data consistency.
• Support the accounts team in preparing financial reports and statements.
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of financial records.
• Coordinate with the procurement and sales teams for accurate data input.
• Assist in inventory and stock reconciliation for accounting purposes.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.
• Perform any other administrative or accounting-related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in data entry, preferably in an accounts department.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or any ERP system).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail with high accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with the textile/fashion industry is a plus.
