Job Summary:
The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling the company’s FMCG/Paint products to retail outlets, distributors, and corporate clients. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and ensuring market coverage as per the company’s sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales targets by developing and maintaining relationships with retailers, distributors, dealers, and contractors.
- Identify new business opportunities in the assigned territory.
- Conduct regular market visits to ensure availability, visibility, and proper merchandising of products.
- Implement sales and marketing campaigns and ensure their effectiveness at the ground level.
- Negotiate terms of sales agreements and close deals profitably.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences and report findings to management.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
- Handle customer complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction and maintain long-term relationships.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports and provide feedback on market conditions and product performance.
- Collaborate with the marketing and supply chain teams to plan and execute trade promotions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field.
- 1-3 years of proven sales experience in FMCG or Paint Industry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of local market dynamics, distribution networks, and customer behavior.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to meet sales targets under pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
