The Department of Radiology offers a comprehensive range of highly sophisticated imaging tests and procedures that are conducted in a welcoming environment that focuses on quality and patient comfort. The diagnostic services are supported by advanced, state-of-the-art technologies like 3T MRI, 640 slice CT, Mammography, Bone density, Nuclear Imaging, PET, Interventional services, General x-rays, etc. The department is dedicated to patient services and imaging excellence through highest professional and technological standards. The department maintains state-of-the-art technology imaging services to provide our physicians and patients with the most accurate, timely and informative results.

Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
Develop and achieve smart goals tailored for short and medium-term, targets, and objectives, and establish strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the Hospital's vision and mission.
Implement relevant strategies for improving work process and efficiency, assist in high-risk initiatives, and develop and monitor budgets.
Collaborate with finance department to develop and monitor service line budgets, goals, strategies, volumes, and revenues, while controlling department funds and expenditures.
Define and execute strategies to increase revenues and volume targets.
Conceptualize, develop, and manage sub-speciality and service development. Plan future needs and ensure resource availability.
Oversee smooth service functioning, review administrative procedures, bring innovation, identify alternative approaches, and recommend solutions for complex issues.
Achieve targets and manage indicators, consistently implement policies, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, manage resources, and ensure faculty and staff are credentialed according to institutional policies for quality patient care.
Ensure staff documents meet JCIA standards, implement quality management techniques, update Quality Manual, and represent Radiology department in quality and administrative forums.
Facilitate clinical process improvement, ensure timely report submission, identify staffing needs.
Develop and implement improvement plans for staff training, provide feedback, conduct performance appraisals, ensure compliance with HR policies, and offer guidance, coaching, and knowledge sharing to enhance staff performance.
Handle quality assurance and compliance data, ensuring improvement.
Assist in handling complaints, conducting RCAs, reviewing patient satisfaction index, retaining star performers, preparing staffing plans, recruiting qualified staff, developing plans, providing continuous feedback, and conducting performance appraisals of staff.
Maximize staff utilization, provide guidance, mentor, participate in continuous professional development.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree. (Master’s will be preferred)
Knowledge of Radiography and related equipment with experience of working in a hospital-based Radiology department.
At least 12+ years of relevant professional experience including 5-7 years in a managerial role.
Experience of managing resources across multiple functions and in coaching, mentoring, and developing employees.
Proven leadership qualities.
Ability to develop, maintain and strengthen partnerships with stakeholders for the delivery of exemplary patient care services
Ability to make complex decisions for which there are no set procedures and also develop solutions to problems, balancing the risks and implications across multiple projects
Knowledge of resource management including financial management.
Ability to analyze budget variance reports and statistical data.
Sound knowledge of quality/patient care/patient safety standards.
Good negotiation skills with knowledge of marketing.
Ability to work under pressure and meet the deadlines.
Ability to identify effective business practices that should continue after the change is implemented and anticipate specific reasons underlying resistance to change and implement approaches that address resistance.
