We are hiring a caring, enthusiastic, and Montessori-trained Early Years Teacher to join our Montessori Section (Playgroup, Nursery, Kindergarten). The ideal candidate will understand child psychology and deliver lessons based on Montessori methods to support early cognitive, motor, emotional, and language development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate Montessori lessons using sensory materials and hands-on activities.
- Guide students in practical life skills, sensorial exercises, language development, math readiness, and cultural exploration.
- Create and maintain a stimulating, safe, and orderly classroom environment aligned with Montessori philosophy.
- Foster independence, concentration, and confidence in children through respectful guidance and observation.
- Organize engaging circle time, storytime, art and craft, music, and physical play sessions.
- Assess each child’s developmental progress and maintain observation records and student portfolios.
- Communicate with parents regularly regarding student growth, achievements, and any behavioral or academic concerns.
- Collaborate with co-teachers, section heads, and school administrators for curriculum development and classroom planning.
- Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and early childhood education workshops.
Qualifications:
- Required: Montessori Diploma/Certification from a recognized institution
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Development, or Psychology
- Minimum 1–2 years of classroom experience in a Montessori or early years setting
- Strong understanding of child development stages (ages 2.5–6)
