We are seeking a sincere, dedicated, and knowledgeable Islamiat Teacher for the Primary Section (Grades 1–5). The teacher will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate lessons in Islamic studies while nurturing students’ moral, spiritual, and ethical development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach core Islamic concepts, including Aqaid, Fiqh, Seerat-un-Nabi (PBUH), Quranic stories, Hadith, Islamic history, and daily duas.
- Develop lesson plans in line with school curriculum standards and age group understanding.
- Teach students how to recite short Surahs, offer prayers, and practice Islamic manners.
- Use storytelling, visuals, and activity-based learning to explain Islamic teachings in a child-friendly manner.
- Promote moral values such as honesty, respect, kindness, and gratitude in classroom discussions and activities.
- Organize and lead Islamic events such as Eid celebrations, Ramadan activities, Milad, and Quran recitation competitions.
- Encourage memorization of essential Islamic texts (duas, Surahs) and track individual student progress.
- Maintain a peaceful and respectful classroom environment reflecting Islamic ethics.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student performance and behavior.
- Collaborate with class teachers and the academic coordinator for integrated moral education.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Islamiat, Arabic, Education, or related field
- Dars-e-Nizami / Shahadat-ul-Almiya / Tajweed certification (preferred but not mandatory)
- 1–2 years of teaching experience at the primary or elementary level
- Sound knowledge of Islamic teachings with the ability to convey concepts clearly to young learners
- Fluent in Urdu; basic English communication is a plus
