We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Class Teacher for our Primary Section. The ideal candidate should be capable of teaching core subjects (English, Math, Science, and Social Studies), managing the classroom independently, and supporting the social and emotional development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver daily lessons for all core subjects according to the prescribed curriculum (Oxford or equivalent).
- Use age-appropriate teaching methods including visual aids, storytelling, discussions, games, and hands-on activities.
- Prepare weekly lesson plans and maintain teaching records aligned with school goals and academic calendar.
- Conduct regular assessments, class tests, and assignments to monitor and evaluate student progress.
- Maintain student portfolios, attendance records, and academic performance reports.
- Foster a positive, disciplined, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Develop students' personal and social skills through classroom interaction and guidance.
- Communicate regularly and effectively with parents through PTMs, progress reports, and informal meetings.
- Participate in school events, academic competitions, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
- Collaborate with subject specialists, academic coordinators, and school management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- B.Ed. or Montessori training (preferred for lower grades).
- Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the primary level.
- Familiarity with the Oxford curriculum or equivalent.
