American Lyceum International School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Section Class Teacher to join our dynamic academic team. The ideal candidate will have strong classroom management skills, a nurturing attitude, and the ability to deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons based on the school's curriculum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in core subjects (English, Math, Science, Social Studies, etc.) to students from Grades 1–5.
- Maintain a well-organized, safe, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Develop and implement daily lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress regularly.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes student engagement and participation.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic and behavioral progress.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to plan activities and school events.
- Participate in training, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.
- Maintain student records, report cards, and portfolios as required by the school.
- Uphold school values, policies, and discipline codes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant field (B.Ed. preferred).
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience at the primary/elementary level.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with educational technology and tools (Google Classroom, Zoom, etc.) is a plus.
- Passionate about teaching and nurturing young learners.
