Job Purpose:
The MTO-Accounts Receivable is a developmental role focused on receivables operations, cash flow optimization, and customer relationship management. Trainees will gain expertise in invoicing, collections, credit management, and AR automation systems, with rotations in related finance functions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Invoice Management
- Generate and distribute accurate invoices via ERP systems, ensuring alignment with sales orders.
- Resolve billing discrepancies and disputes through collaboration with sales/customer service teams.
Collections & Cash Application
- Monitor aging reports, contact customers for overdue payments (via email/phone), and negotiate repayment plans.
- Accurately apply payments to customer accounts, reconcile remittances, and resolve short payments.
Customer & Credit Management
- Assess customer creditworthiness, set credit limits, and review terms based on payment history.
- Maintain customer records, document interactions (e.g., promise-to-pay dates), and foster positive relationships.
Skills required:
- MTO Accounts Receivable plays a vital role in bookkeeping, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical, accounting, and organizational skills to support financial operations efficiently.
