Responsibilities:
As an Occupational Therapist, you will contribute to enhancing the quality of life for children facing challenges in fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living. Your role will focus on providing practical, patient-centered interventions that empower children to live independent and fulfilling lives. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's needs.
- Conducting standardized assessments to monitor and document patient progress.
- Providing education and training to parents, caregivers, and junior staff.
- Maintaining thorough and timely documentation of patient notes and therapeutic plans.
- Supporting departmental activities including group therapy sessions, meetings, and seminars.
- Ensuring adherence to departmental protocols and organizational quality standards.
- Ensuring compliance with the clinical key performance indicators pertaining to JCIA, patient care and admin outcomes.
Requirements
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent (16 years of education from an HEC-recognized institution).
- Minimum of 1 year of post-training clinical experience in a reputable healthcare setting.
- Strong understanding of paediatric neuro-rehabilitation and counselling techniques.
- Ability to develop and execute care plans for complex cases.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to ongoing learning and openness to feedback.
