Lunar Furniture, a leading name in the office furniture industry, is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to join our manufacturing team in Karachi. This role is critical in ensuring that all products meet our high standards of quality, functionality, and finish before they reach our valued clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished office furniture for compliance with design and quality standards
- Perform routine quality checks on dimensions, finishes, stability, and craftsmanship
- Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrective action
- Maintain quality documentation and inspection records
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure practical product feasibility
- Conduct audits of production processes and recommend improvements
- Conduct training sessions on quality protocols and best practices for staff and labor
- Ensure compliance with ISO, HSE, and industry-specific quality standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in quality control within the furniture or manufacturing industry
- Diploma/Degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of materials, joinery, finishing, and ergonomics of office furniture
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality systems is a plus
- Strong communication and reporting skills

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs65,000.00 per month
