An American Islamic School is seeking a dedicated and organized School Administration Assistant (Remote) to support the daily administrative operations of our institution. This role plays a vital part in upholding academic excellence and fostering an environment rooted in Islamic values.
The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and fully committed to working with us exclusively. This is a full-time position that does not allow for double shifts or side jobs. The hired individual will be expected to join our virtual office from 6 PM to 4:00 PM PKT, five days a week.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Oversight
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including correspondence, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Maintain and update student records and databases.
2. Student Affairs
- Oversee student admissions, enrollment, and withdrawals.
- Address student inquiries and support disciplinary processes.
- Collaborate with teachers to support academic progress and student well-being.
3. Parent Communication
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents about school policies, events, and student performance.
- Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries and concerns.
- Organize and coordinate parent-teacher conferences and engagement activities.
4. Event Coordination
- Plan and execute school-wide events, including orientations, graduations, and Islamic/cultural celebrations.
- Handle event logistics such as scheduling, catering, and communication.
5. Community Engagement
- Build positive relationships with community organizations, local mosques, and educational partners.
- Represent the school in community initiatives and outreach.
- Engage with the online community through social media and digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field.
- Prior experience in school administration or a related role preferred.
- Understanding of Islamic values and educational principles.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
- Must be able to work full-time.
