Job Summary
We are seeking a seasoned and versatile Senior Full Stack Developer with over 10 years of experience to lead the end-to-end development of our e-commerce platform. The ideal candidate has a strong background in both frontend and backend technologies, with a focus on building scalable, performant, and secure applications for retail e-commerce businesses that heavily depend on third party integrations, such as payment gateways, logistics, CRM, and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities Architecture & Development:
- Design and implement highly scalable, resilient, and secure web applications.
Lead development of ecommerce features like product discovery, checkout flows, loyalty systems, and real-time inventory sync.
Develop and maintain APIs to connect with third-party systems (e.g., payment processors, shipping providers, recommendation engines).
Frontend Engineering: -
Build responsive and accessible user interfaces using React, Angular, or Vue.js.
Ensure performance optimization, SEO compatibility, and cross-browser support. Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UI/UX aligned with brand identity.
Backend Engineering: -
Build microservices and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, Java, or similar technologies. Implement authentication, authorization, and role-based access controls.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Third-Party Integrations: -
- Integrate with ecommerce platforms (Magento) or build custom integrations.
Handle data exchange with external systems like ERPs, payment gateways, email platforms, and analytics tools.
DevOps & Quality:
- Set up CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Docker,
Kubernetes).
Maintain unit and integration tests. Monitor application performance and security vulnerabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
10+ years of hands-on experience in full stack development.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React/Angular/Vue) and backend technologies (Node.js, Python, Java).
Strong knowledge of databases, caching, and API design.
Experience with ecommerce architecture, security, and data privacy standards.
Ability to troubleshoot, optimize, and scale high-traffic ecommerce websites.
Familiar with agile/scrum practices and product lifecycle management.
Preferred Experience -
Prior experience in retail or fashion ecommerce platforms.
Experience integrating with Shopify Plus, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Magento. Familiarity with GraphQL, headless CMS (Contentful, Strapi), and JAMstack.
Exposure to cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure).
