Ensure that all assignments are completed within a defined time frame without compromising on quality standards.
- Execute Risk Control Self-Assessments, Internal Control / ICFR Testing and other risk based Thematic and Functional Reviews through a culture of partnership with pertinent Branches / Units.
- Ensure that the reviews / quality reviews performed are detailed, of high quality and add value for the management (illustrated through a reduction in audit exceptions / adoption of practical suggestions for processes improvement, etc.).
- Strong logical analytical, reasoning skills and business intelligence.
- Has ability to select, configure, and implement analytics solutions.
- Extract reports from multiple sources and Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
- Ensure that assessments/reviews are performed accurate and timely in line with the OR Plan (accounting for contingencies as need be) Develop good understanding of the HBL operational processes, polices and regulatory requirements and assist Team Leader in identifying & documenting non-compliance to improve the quality of control environment at HBL.
- Follow a structured process for reporting testing results at defined frequencies to Team Leader. Assist Team Leader in ensuring that relevant ORM systems and trackers are updated accurately & on time in accordance with the procedures enabling timely follow ups / escalations to Senior Management.
- Assist Team Leader in providing guidance and assistance to Units by explaining the correct procedures & the key regulatory requirements to enhance the understanding of Unit’s Staff.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Formally and informally network / engage relevant offices / stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved & inculcate a culture of compliance for policies / procedures and key regulatory requirements.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelors from an HEC accredited institution
- Good communication, presentation and analytical skills
- Good understanding of Bank’s key products, processes and systems used.
Minimum experience:
- 2 –7 years of Banking experience in Operations, Operational Risk and/or Controls related functions.
