Education: Master's/Bachelor's in Social Sciences/Economics/Gender Studies
Experience: 3-5 years' experience of community mobilization, advocacy and trainings in the development sector.
Job Description:
- Assist District Manager and the Researcher in implementation of project activities.
- Conduct baseline/Household survey to identify potential schools for out of school children.
- Provide regular updates and detailed reports on the project’s progress to the team.
- Data entry of baseline survey into software for data analysis.
- Schedule and organize and facilitate meetings/events while maintaining an agenda.
- Conduct daily field visits to monitor attendance and engagement in learning camps.
- Ensure adherence to ITA’s and British Council’s code of conduct, policies, and procedures, as well as compliance with Safeguarding and PSEA policies.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
Skills:
Strong communication and writing skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and database management is essential.
Experience working with local government officials and services is required.
Data management and IT skills are an advantage, along with expertise in community mobilization, training, and knowledge of government services and structures.
