Research Associate, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is the academic department of the University to support wide range of in-patient and outpatient care services pertinent to general obstetrics and gynaecology inlcuding lactation consultancy, family planning and parenting education. In addition to the core services, department also caters to wide range of specialised services of Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynaecologic Oncology, Urogynaecology and Pediatrics & Adolescent gynaecology. The department also offers formal post graduate training programs of residency and fellowship in Maternal Fetal Medicine, Urogynaecology and Gynaecologic Oncology.
This is a grant-funded contractual position.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- coordinate research activities, ensuring adherence to timelines and deliverables
- maintain compliance with ethical, regulatory, and institutional guidelines
- oversee data collection, management, and quality assurance processes
- assist in grant writing, funding applications, and budget management
- facilitate communication between researchers, participants, and stakeholders
- recruit, enrol, and ensure ethical treatment of study participants
- prepare research reports, presentations, and publications for dissemination.
Eligibility Criteria / Requirements:
You should have:
- a bachelor's degree in economics or educational management
- certification in early childhood, newborn parenting, and project management will be an added benefit
- at least two years of experience working in a healthcare setting for newborn parenting and early childhood development (ECD)
- proficiency in MS Office and Canva
- excellent organisational capabilities and ability to handle a diverse set of tasks for multiple studies simultaneously.
