Role Overview:
As an Accounts Receivable Executive, your primary responsibility will be managing credit control for our UK-based customer. You will play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow through timely collections, accurate bookkeeping, and effective resolution of customer queries. This is a hands-on role that requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of accounts receivable processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts
- Monitor customer accounts, chase overdue invoices, and escalate issues where appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of communication and payment activity
- Process customer payments and allocate against invoices in the accounting system
- Issue statements, credit notes, and reminders as needed
- Handle and resolve customer queries in a timely and professional manner
- Perform bookkeeping duties including posting sales invoices, receipts, and bank reconciliations
- Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer billing and credits are accurate
Key Requirements:
- Understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g.; Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
