Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and ethical professional to join our team as Assistant Manager – Compliance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that all restaurants and business units comply with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and company standards. This role requires regular field visits, reporting, and close collaboration with outlet managers and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Audits:
Conduct scheduled and surprise inventory audits at QSR outlets.
Check accuracy and completeness of inventory records.
Analyze variance reports and identify areas of concern.
Recommend corrective actions to minimize stock loss or misuse.
Quality Audits:
Perform regular food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness audits in accordance with company’s guideline.
Ensure compliance with HACCP and local food authority regulations.
Report deviations and work with operations to implement corrective measures.
Financial & Cash Handling Audits:
Audit POS data against reported records.
Review daily sales reconciliations and ensure SOP adherence.
Perform Petty cash audit
Analyze vendor sheets.
Identify and report fraudulent activity or mismanagement of funds.
Payroll & Attendance Audits:
Audit staff rosters, biometric attendance logs, and payroll disbursements.
Ensure proper documentation and validation of overtime and other claims.
Verify compliance with minimum wage laws and labor regulations.
Operational SOP Audits:
Ensure outlet staff follow brand standards, training guidelines, and SOPs.
Conduct checks on order preparation times, packaging standards, and customer service protocols.
Regulatory & Licensing Compliance:
Verify that all outlets maintain valid licenses, food authority certifications, and health/safety approvals.
Ensure timely renewal and documentation of legal requirements.
Risk Assessment & Internal Controls:
Identify internal control weaknesses and suggest process improvements.
Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans.
Maintain audit trail and records for future review and legal compliance.
Training & Awareness:
Conduct training sessions for outlet teams on compliance standards and audit readiness.
Promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA/ACCA/CIA preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of audit or compliance experience, preferably in the QSR industry.
Strong knowledge of inventory management, food safety standards, labor laws, and financial controls.
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and POS/reporting software.
Willingness to travel extensively to outlet locations.
Excellent analytical, communication, and report-writing skills.
High ethical standards and attention to detail.
