To formulate internal control, monitoring and governance standards for Business Banking portfolio.
- Develop and manage internal control and governance standards for customer onboarding
- Develop and manage portfolio monitoring and governance with focus on online channel usage, KYC accuracy, site visits
- Focus on L3 customers for patterns, account throughput, etc.
- Ensure that the KYC alerts and profiles are validated and required actions taken
- Review, monitor and control departmental high risk items such as MER, ONR and deferrals
- Ensure completion of training modules and awareness of risk for all staff
- Perform regular governance checks through field visits
- Develop self-governing practices that help detect fraudulent applications
- Liaise with FP&I for best practice
- Implement compliance requirements laid down by Central Bank guidelines
- OPERATING ENVIRONMENT, FRAMEWORK AND BOUNDARIES, WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Work closely with relationship and service teams, Compliance, CIC, CCAM, Credit Operations and FP&I
- Proactively manage impact of regulatory changes as the first line of defense

- University degree, preferably MBA required with 4 years of banking experience with 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in managing AML/Compliance or similar monitoring roles
