We're currently seeking a skilled Content Writer who also has experience in managing and executing basic social media tasks.
Role Overview
This role is primarily focused on high-quality content creation. However, you’ll also support our marketing team by assisting with day-to-day social media tasks like writing captions, scheduling posts, and monitoring engagement. Ideal for someone who’s a strong writer with a working knowledge of social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Content Writing (Core Responsibility)
Write SEO-optimised blog articles, landing pages, email content, and website copy
Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats (ads, social posts, scripts)
Conduct keyword research and implement best SEO practices
Write for multiple tones depending on the brand/client
Collaborate with designers, developers, and marketing leads on content strategy
Social Media Support (Secondary Responsibility)
Write captions, CTAs, and hashtag strategies for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
Assist in scheduling content using tools like Buffer or Meta Business Suite
Stay updated on social trends and suggest creative ideas
Help track post engagement and performance metrics
Occasionally assist with story ideas, reel scripts, and light community engagement
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field
2+ years of experience in professional content writing (UK audience preferred)
Strong portfolio showing high-quality written work across digital formats
Basic experience handling social media platforms (especially Meta and LinkedIn)
Understanding of SEO and content optimization techniques
Excellent grammar, editing, and attention to detail
Comfortable working remotely and communicating with a UK-based team
Must be available during UK working hour
