Contractor Compliance Lead
Location
Reko Diq Mine Site – Balochistan
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus
Experience
Minimum 8–11 years’ experience in contractor compliance, risk management, procurement, or related roles, preferably within the mining or construction industries.
Strong knowledge of local laws, regulations, and industry best practices regarding contractor compliance and management
Requirements
Excellent understanding of contractor management systems and compliance frameworks.
Proficient in managing Damstra onboarding system (advantageous).
Proficient in SAP Ariba and other compliance monitoring tools.
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and contractors.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and training purposes.
Proficient in audit methodologies and compliance monitoring tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Fluent in English (both written and spoken), with proficiency in Urdu or Baloch (advantageous).
Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor contractor compliance programs in alignment with company policies and legal requirements.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and assessments of contractor activities to ensure adherence to company policies, contractual terms, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, HSE, Security, HR, Operations, Finance, and Project teams to ensure contractor compliance is integrated into all phases of the contract lifecycle.
Provide training and guidance to contractors on company policies, compliance, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Manage contractor compliance records and documentation, reporting findings and recommendations to management.
Investigate contractor-related incidents of non-conformance, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and external auditors during inspections, and compliance reviews involving contractors.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contractor compliance and risk management processes.
