Database Monitoring
- To properly monitor the databases for availability, better performance and un-interrupted services of bank’s critical databases.
Backup Sites
- Ensure disaster recovery sites are properly getting synchronized with production.
Availability
- Should be available 24*7 for any critical issue and willing to work in shifts.
Backup Management
- To take backup of the databases to ensure availability of backup copies for recovery purposes
Database Installation
- Should be able to install heterogeneous database any platform by following the best practices.
Daily check list
- Maintain daily check list of database health.
Documentation
- Create SOP when new functionality is introduced in production.
Change Management
- Maintain all CMF that made live in production.
Space management
- Properly manage archive space, tablespace and file-system space to avoid any outages.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline
- Certifications in a relevant job role
Minimum experience:
- 01 to 03 years of experience in database administration, knowledge of Mimix Monitoring, System Jobs Monitoring, Performance Monitoring, AS400 technical expertise is must.
