Responsibilities:
- Initiate the opening of Letters of Credit (LCs) or Bank Contracts in consultation with the line manager, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
Import Documentation and Communication:
- Liaise with various stakeholders including Suppliers, Banks, Freight Forwarders, Clearing Agents, Insurance Companies, and Customs for timely procurement of documents, duty forms, etc.
- Initiate the opening of Letters of Credit (LCs) or Bank Contracts in consultation with the line manager, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Follow up with Banks for LCs/Bank Contracts, Shipping Documents, opening and retirement advices.
- Perform detailed checking of Letters of Credit (LC) and Import Documents (Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificates, Bill of Lading) to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contact Clearing Agents for efficient consignment clearance and coordinate timely offloading with respective plants.
System Management and Financial Processes:
- Update Import Master Chart and In-transit Files to maintain data accuracy.
- Manage Security Deposits, including record-keeping and follow-ups with Clearing Agents, and submit reports to Finance.
- Process and ensure proper payment of Clearing Agents and Transporter Bills.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Stay updated on relevant import regulations and trade agreements.
- Analyze import data to identify opportunities for cost optimization and process improvements.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficiency in English, Written and Verbal.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in import operations (preference).
- Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Solid understanding of international trade and customs regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of Letter of Credit (LC) documentation and processes (essential).
- Multitasking ability and meticulous attention to detail are crucial for success.
- Female Candidates will be given preference.

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
