About the Role:
As our Email Marketing Specialist, you’ll own the strategy, execution, and optimization of email campaigns that support lead generation, customer engagement, and brand awareness. This is a fully remote role, ideal for someone who is both creative and data-driven, with a strong grasp of email automation tools and best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and execute engaging email marketing campaigns aligned with marketing and sales goals
- Write compelling, on-brand content for newsletters, drip campaigns, product launches, and promotions
- Build and segment email lists to ensure accurate targeting and personalization
- Use A/B testing to improve subject lines, layouts, and calls to action
- Monitor campaign performance and analyze metrics such as open rate, CTR, and conversions
- Maintain compliance with data protection and privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
- Collaborate with design, content, and product teams to align messaging and visuals
- Continuously optimize campaigns based on data, feedback, and trends
Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in email marketing
- Proficiency with tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or similar platforms
- Strong writing and editing skills, especially in marketing copy
- Familiarity with segmentation, workflows, and automation
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS for emails is a plus (but not required)
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Experience in B2B or event/meetings industry is a bonus
