American Lyceum International School is seeking a confident, experienced, and visionary Middle School Head to lead the academic, administrative, and co-curricular functions of Grades 6 to 8. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, a firm grasp of curriculum delivery, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to maintaining high academic and behavioral standards in a values-driven school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the academic and operational management of the Middle Section (Grades 6–8).
- Supervise subject teachers, ensuring quality instruction and classroom discipline.
- Oversee curriculum planning, lesson execution, and student assessments in collaboration with faculty.
- Monitor and evaluate teacher performance through classroom observations and feedback.
- Provide mentorship and training to teachers to promote professional growth and instructional excellence.
- Ensure that student behavior aligns with school policies; address discipline cases effectively.
- Communicate with parents about academic concerns, behavioral issues, and school activities.
- Coordinate exams, academic planning, extracurricular activities, and inter-house competitions.
- Develop school improvement strategies in collaboration with senior leadership.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, teacher performance, and departmental reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of teaching and/or administrative experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Strong understanding of middle school pedagogy and curriculum (National, Oxford, or Cambridge).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in English (spoken and written) with strong report-writing skills.
- Competence in using educational technology and digital classroom tools (e.g., Google Workspace, online grading systems).

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
