PPC Lead:

We're a dynamic sock manufacturing company looking for a Production Planning & Control Lead to join our team and drive our operational excellence.
In this pivotal role, you'll be the central hub connecting sales forecasts with tangible production. You'll ensure our manufacturing operations run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule, from raw material procurement to final product dispatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Production Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive production schedules for all departments, aligning with confirmed shipment dates and sales forecasts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Marketing team to understand demand, and the Production team to assess capacity and execution capabilities, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Material Resource Planning: Accurately forecast yarn requirements and manage the procurement process, deciding whether to utilize internal stock or source from external suppliers to ensure timely availability and cost-effectiveness.
- Dyeing Plan Management: Plan and oversee the dyeing process, determining whether to conduct dyeing in-house or outsource to achieve the best results in terms of quality, cost, and lead time.
- Efficiency & Optimization: Continuously analyze production workflows to identify bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement strategies for maximizing efficiency and productivity across all stages.
- Inventory Management: Monitor raw material and finished goods inventory levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking, ensuring optimal material flow.
- Performance Reporting: Track key production metrics, analyze performance against plans, and provide regular reports to management, highlighting areas for improvement.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Textile, Materials Science, or Business Administration
- Strong understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and manufacturing processes.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Production Planning Department within the textile or apparel industry, with a significant focus on socks manufacturing.
