We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as Production Planning Lead.
Job purpose:
- Responsible for managing the production planning process, ensuring plan compliance, timely conversion of semi-finished (SF) to finished goods (FG) and reconciling production data with consumed raw materials. The Production Planning Lead will also monitor stock levels in warehouses and WIP (Work in Progress) to prevent stockouts and ensure smooth production operations.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement production plans based on sales forecasts and demands.
- Collaborate with sales and Supply chain team to translate forecasted demands into actionable production schedules.
- Adjust production plans to accommodate changes in demand, material availability and production capacity with optimum changeovers
- Ensure compliance with production plans and schedules, monitoring progress against targets.
- Generate and analyze reports on plan compliance, identifying deviations and implementing corrective actions.
- Oversee the conversion of semi-finished (SF) products to finished goods (FG) in a timely manner.
- Monitor FG stock levels to ensure maximum cover days and prevent excess/Shortage of inventory
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure efficient processing and minimal delays.
- Reconcile production data with consumed raw materials before posting on SAP.
- Ensure that material consumption aligns with standards and identify any discrepancies.
- Regularly monitor stock levels in WH11 and WIP (Work in Progress) to prevent stockouts.
- Initiate timely actions to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure smooth production operations.
Experience:
- Bachelor's in engineering, MBA (preferred) with 7+ years of experience required.
- Proven experience in production management or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in MRP systems, SAP, and other relevant software applications.
- Demonstrated expertise in process improvement methodologies, including Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices.
- Mechanical knowledge is preferred to effectively address operational challenges.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making and problem-solving.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Rs130,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
