Job Summary:
Essa Corp is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Trainee to join our Surgical Division, specializing in Surgical Draping Solutions. This role is designed for individuals looking to build a career in medical sales, offering hands-on training in product knowledge, customer engagement, and sales strategies. The trainee will work closely with the sales team to promote our high-quality surgical draping products to hospitals, clinics, and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Learn and develop expertise in surgical draping products, including their features, benefits, and applications in operating rooms.
- Assist the sales team in identifying and prospecting potential clients (hospitals, surgical centers, distributors).
- Participate in sales calls, product demonstrations, and presentations under the guidance of senior sales representatives.
- Support in building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare professionals (surgeons, nurses, procurement teams).
- Help in preparing sales reports, tracking leads, and managing customer inquiries.
- Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and training sessions as required.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and regulatory requirements related to surgical drapes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or related field (CGPA minimum 2.70 out of 4.0).
- Strong interest in medical sales, preferably in the surgical/healthcare sector.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, eager to learn, and results-driven.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of operating room protocols (advantageous but not mandatory).
- Willingness to travel as needed for client visits and training.
