We Are Hiring: Software Developer (full-time) - Remote
SmartB Solutions is currently searching for a Software Developer with a strong technical foundation and a proactive mindset. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a minimum of 3 years’ full-time post-university professional experience, including at least 3 years of Python development, and 1+ year of ERP-related experience. Experience with Tornado and Odoo frameworks will be considered a strong advantage.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs
- Integrate with front-end components and support cross-functional collaboration
- Translate business and product requirements into robust, scalable code
- Contribute to system architecture, technical design, and code reviews
- Write and maintain unit/integration tests to ensure system reliability
- Troubleshoot and optimize performance and backend logic
- Document your code and development processes for maintainability
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of full-time professional experience post-graduation
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Python
- At least 1 year of ERP systems experience (Odoo, SAP, or similar)
- Experience with Tornado and/or Odoo is a plus
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and server-side logic
- Familiarity with databases: both SQL and NoSQL
- Exposure to frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React) is an advantage
- Proficiency in Git, version control workflows, and CI/CD practices
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, etc.) is a bonus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-driven, organized, and team-oriented

- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Work on SaaS or B2B enterprise-level products
- Open-source project contributions or involvement in tech communities
