Eligibility
Qualification:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from an HEC recognized university.
Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of VMware Hypervisor ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, SAN, PowerVM, storage solutions, shell scripting, virtualization, and backup infrastructure
- Skilled in system administration and virtualization management
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in high-availability environments
Responsibilities:
- Installing, Administering and configuring virtual machines, clustering, cloning, and managing VM migration techniques
- Managing VM snapshots and maintaining an updated inventory of VMware objects
- Administering and configuring Linux, UNIX, and Windows core systems, providing support for application hosting and integration
- Managing SAN infrastructure for core applications and databases
- Installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Installing, configuring, and managing UCS blade centers, including creating service profiles and templates
- Ensuring 24/7 operational support to maintain smooth operations and high service availability
- Configuring and reviewing OS security hardening techniques to ensure compliance with best practices
- Providing monitoring, backup, and diagnostic support for servers and storage equipment
