Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Records, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the academic records of students enrolled at the Institute for Educational Development (IED), Pakistan. This role involves managing the full lifecycle of student records from enrollment through graduation, with a particular focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with University policies and procedures.
Specifically, you will be responsible to:
- Manage each student’s academic data online in AKUROSS; includes Term Activation, Class Enrolments, Service Indicators, Score Entries, etc.
- Generate and submit relevant reports for the respective programme as and when required.
- Responsible for managing student services for on-board students and alumni for the designated programme(s) including but not limited to;
- Results
- Transcripts
- Verifications
- Letters etc.
- Completing the process for financial clearance for students prior to their examinations; preparing and dispatching results and other correspondence letters to the students & their parents on timely manner.
- Manage student electronic filings as well as hard filing.
- When required, provide secretarial support to the departmental / university committees including but not limited to taking notes of the meeting, recording the action points or matters arising from the previous minutes and following matters.
- Maintaining various student related data and reporting.
- Any other assignment assigned by the management.
- Act as the custodian and responsible for the receiving & retrieval of the original educational documents of onboard students and graduates;
- Manage document verification process of the admitted students for the assigned programmes.
- Providing support in orgianizing various departmental events including (but not limited to) Convocation, Admission Test, Outreach activities etc.
Qualifications:
You should have:
- An undergraduate degree.
- At least 2 - 3 years’ experience of working directly with young people preferably in an academic setting in the Higher Education System.
- Experience of working in environments where there are tight time schedules.
- Strong interpersonal skills and language competency [both written and verbal]
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Systems including EXCEL.
- Knowledge of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions will be an added advantage.
