Job Description
Role purpose
- Support in Business Development strategy planning, development and execution for the Pakistan market.
- Focus on increasing Syngenta’s market share in B2B target market.
- End to end Sales Operations and Administration processes primarily working on demand fulfillment and ensuring the success of the business.
Accountabilities
- Business Development:
- Explore, recommend, and support in implementation of local B2B market growth opportunities including sugar mills, rice mills and value chain partners where core CP & Biologicals business can be developed.
- Identify local market GTM opportunities to grow existing GTM footprint and access to growers.
- Identify and introduce initiatives to improve farmer experience (Channel improvement, solving for key farmer pain points)
- Sales coordination:
- Leading the forecasts discussions with sales teams to drive revenue forecasting.
- Own the sales target setting from goal to achievement.
- Continuous connection with supply and logistics to ensure availability of the right product at the right time and location.
- Proactively devising a plan to ensure product availability at all warehouses.
- Developing data stories for leadership and commercial teams to help capture all possible sales opportunities.
- Leading collection of key data from sales monthly meetings and coordinate cross functionally to ensure execution.
- Lead the automation journey of sales teams to build efficiency.
- Analyse supply and demand issues. Develop all data, metrics and scenarios to be discussed during S&OP meetings.
- Business development & Expansion
- Identify local market opportunities to grow existing (new geographies, product portfolio expansion) and diversifying into new product/services through third party collaborations.
- Identify and introduce initiatives to improve farmer experience (Channel improvement, solving for key farmer pain points)
- Digitalisation & Farmer Experience
- Develop digital strategy/roadmap and oversee/track implementation of initiatives
- Identify emerging digital trends and evaluate product/service market fit in collaboration with Digital Marketing Team
- Develop framework to assess and track farmer happiness
- Identify/lead initiatives to increase farmer happiness
- Explore digital partnerships to have step change in farmer experience (Farm to market, Financing etc)
- Bring organization closer to the tech landscape of Pakistan by collaborating with key stakeholders (Digital players, NICs, Tech leaders etc.)
