This is a remote role.
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to spearhead our growth initiatives by proactively sourcing, evaluating, and cultivating new business prospects. As the initial liaison for potential clients, you will be responsible for initiating contact, developing a robust pipeline of qualified leads, and creating opportunities for our sales team to convert. The perfect candidate will be a dynamic communicator with exceptional relationship-building skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of surpassing business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect & Generate Leads: Research and identify potential clients through cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, and other channels.
- Qualify Opportunities: Engage prospects to understand their needs and determine fit with our solutions.
- Schedule Meetings/Demos: Book qualified appointments for the sales team to advance the pipeline.
- Maintain CRM Hygiene: Accurately track all activities (calls, emails, meetings) in [CRM, e.g., Salesforce/HubSpot].
- Collaborate with Sales/Marketing: Work closely with teams to refine outreach strategies and messaging.
- Meet KPIs: Achieve monthly/quarterly targets for calls, emails, meetings booked, and pipeline contribution.
- Stay Informed: Keep up with industry trends, competitor offerings, and product updates.
Requirements:
- 2 years in sales, business development, or a related role (sales etc).
- Strong cold-calling, email outreach, and LinkedIn prospecting abilities.
- Excellent verbal/written communication and active listening.
- Ability to navigate objections and articulate value propositions.
- Familiarity with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot) and sales tools (e.g., Outreach, ZoomInfo).
- Self-starter, resilient, goal-oriented, and team player.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not required).
